Message: Hi: I am very impressed with your website especially the status of the filipinos in the Middle East particularly Riyadh. As I was reading the news especially in Bath'a,I felt happy and sad. I have worked in Riyadh under the Ministry of Defense and Aviation for 11 years. I was based in Florida and my boss in Daytona Beach had a Saudi Engineering Company venture. I always visit the places that you have mentioned in your column about Riyadh, from Diraiyah,to Malaz Park,to Wazir and Bath'a. Still the same activities of the filipinos, but though I dislike some of the stuffs when I was there,I loved my stay and my good earning job pulled my family's economic situation up and stabilized,The hardships and sacrifices that our countrymen is experiencing deserves real commendation. The sacrifices that we had by working away from family in a very different country and environment deserves reward not only from the family but from the government of the Republic of the Philippines. We the "OFW" are playing an important role to uplift the diving economy of the Philippines and the government officials or agencies should and must give some special treatment to the Filipino workers when they return for vacation. You have a cool and nice, very informative site and hope that you can visit our website too one day. God Bless and to the FILIPINOS IN RIYADH SAUDI ARABIA and other cities in the Middle East,May God keep you safe you always and kudos to the good work. Alhamdulillah!
