Bakit May MEPinoy? Three years ago, I convinced myself that I can realize my dreams without leaving the Philippines. I struggled dedicating my whole life to fulfilling my vision. Unfortunately, the more I work hard, the farther my dreams have become. One day, I realized that it is starting to become difficult for me to fulfill my elusive dreams. I started looking beyond the Philippines. I told myself that I will not go old sorry for not running the extra mile. I had a number of good offers but until I started working on this website, I can not satisfactorily explain it to my friends and relatives why I opted to go to Saudi Arabia where I will be deprived of most of the liberties I have enjoyed and fought for in the Philippines. Bakit MEPinoy? It is actually a simple play of words. Kung paano mo siya babasahin, yun na yung kahulugan. MEPinoy. Mayroong Pinoy. There is a Filipino. There are Filipinos. Simpleng pangungusap pero malinaw na nagsasaad ng katotohanan. At ang capitalized na letters M at E ay abbreviations ng Middle East. Middle East Filipinos. May Pilipino sa Middle East. Ganoon lang ang yun. Simple. Dahil hindi naman kailangang gawin pang elaborate ang pangalan sapagkat katulad ng halos milyong Pilipino sa Middle East, simple din lang ang website na ito. Wala ito messiahnic visions na gaganda ang kalagayan ng mga Pilipino sa Middle East o magkakaroon ng biglaang pagbabago at pagmamalasakit ang pamahalaan. Bahagi lamang ito ng mas malalim pang pagkilos na kinakailangan upang matugunan ang mga kakulangang nararanasan ng mga Pilipino sa Middle East. At ang pamamaraan ng MEPinoy ay nasa boundaries lamang ng limitations ng web presence na ito.
